WTG wins Toyota Excellent Quality Award again

For a second consecutive year, Toyota Motor North America Inc. has chosen to reward the Waterville TG team with the “Excellent Quality Performance Award”.

WTG’s daily efforts to remain a leader in weatherstrip products quality have paid off. The year 2021 was an excellent year for quality in our Quebec plants.

The commemorative plaque was received by Francisco Santana, Quality Control and Development Manager, as well as Michèle Grégoire, AGM Quality, Material Development and Mixing.

“Winning this award for a second consecutive year is a great honor for us, knowing that Toyota has very high quality standards, and that Waterville TG has once again succeeded in reaching and even surpassing them” said Francisco Santana.

The plaque will be installed in the main hallway at the Waterville plant, so that everyone can see it and be proud of the work they have done.

“I am very proud of my team: quality is not only for the Quality group, but the responsibility and the success of all WTG employees. For next year, I hope to continue the efforts in quality, on all levels” mentioned Michèle Grégoire.

Once again, we want to thank and congratulate all employees, because this recognition is for all of them.
