Our Petrolia, Ontario location is currently seeking a Process Engineer to join the team!
Scope
As a Process Engineer, you will design processes and equipment for our manufacturing environment, monitor equipment through regular testing, and provide strategic oversight of the processes being deployed. You are an integral part of the team as we research, design and develop new equipment.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Manages new business from customer drawing through
process implementation; - Develops process plans, equipment specifications and
process layouts, while ensuring TPS philosophy is applied
throughout; - Leads process design reviews, participates in customer part
and machine design reviews; - Ensures communication between platform, production,
manufacturing engineering and die design; - Prepares capital budgets and capital projects, and presents
them for approval; - Coordinates start-up manufacturing processes for new
products; - Ensures new programs meet process plans and cost targets
at the Start of Production (SOP); - Coordinates all ongoing engineering changes (ECIs, PPCRs)
associated with their project portfolio.
NOTE – Must be willing to travel up to 30% of the time to support other corporate locations.
Requirements
- Min. 3-5 years related experience in a
manufacturing/industrial environment is
an asset; - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical,
Chemical or Industrial Engineering; - Strong hands-on approach to problem
solving in a fast paced manufacturing
environment; - Computer skills-Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, SolidWorks
