Major Areas of Responsibility
- Coach, mentor and guide your direct reports in the Manufacturing Engineering Department with the goal to achieve ongoing continuous improvement and take your team to the next level! ;
- Influence and drive a culture of continuous improvement within your Department as well as within the business ;
- Foster our ‘One Team, One TG’ culture ;
- Act as technical contact for the corporate team ;
- Extrusion capital project management & project implementation follow-up ;
- Production die status management/New die status management ;
- Mass Production Event (MPE) Leader in the Extrusion area ;
- Manage customer complaint countermeasures ;
- Focus on Start of Production (SOP) and End of Production (EOP) activities ;
- Scrap management: tamazume and daily activities ;
- Complete all corporate reporting requirements.
Requirements
- 5+yrs Manufacturing /Industrial Engineering Management experience in a fast paced Just in Time (JIT ) environment ;
- Related Post Secondary Education is required, Bachelor of Science-Engineering Degree Preferred ;
- Strong computer skills in a Windows environment.
